Cumas Pole Trainer
The Pole Trainer is a strong nylon rod with a flexibly mounted sliotar on one end, and a secure hand grip at the other. One metre long and weighing only 500 grammes, it is an extremely handy piece of equipment in coaching classes or groups of young hurlers
It can be used to improve striking, to correct stance when addressing the ball, striking high or low, clashing and blocking etc.
The coach can stop, point out incorrect practice, and encourage improvement, without wasting precious time.
As there is no set-up or storage time, it is a versatile and invaluable aid for those passing on the skills of the game, to the hurlers of the future.
